congratulations, too bad normal people who make up the gaming community don't have 600$ bucks to dump on a console. Most don't even with the 400$ 360. So many PS2 buyers will either get a diffent system or wait for a massive price drop which won't happen for 2-3 years.
ROFL, hahahah, I was just asking myself today "why hasn't sony said anything arrogant this week?".
Phil harrison himself said that they don't care about market share. Meaning all they care about is the PS3 being a blu-ray player first and a games console second.
Kaz better be in for a big surprise, more than the big surprise of RIDDDGGGEE RACCCEEERRR coming to the PS3.
Yah second coming of jesus should be in the next few years, so there's something to look forward to. LOL
Why do people buy screens for their console?
If your going somewhere that somewhere WILL have a TV of some kind. Hotel, family member, etc. It's a waist of money.
oh achira just got owned by sphinx
thanks for clearing that up, it's nice to have somebody corporate on this site to clear up issues. I already knew the wii kiosk wouldn't work, their just gonna have to show videos of people playing the wii. And no PS3 kiosk is a surprise but it doesn't matter until mid 2007 anyways once all the dedicated PS3 buyers are used up.
So this means it has video, it better. The video better support all the biggest formats from quicktime to wmp.
Yah seriously, it HAS TO support atleast the main video formats. If it doesn't have a video version of the zune DON'T RELEASE IT. Better have a solid battery life or no one will bother.

ahhh, SWEET, arcade games on a retro stick. Nice idea MS.
you said almost everything I wanted to, also 99% of HDTV's don't have 1080p. It's a marketing joke from sony.
The only conceivable reason for ipod people to buy this is if it had VIDEO and no format block. But I know Microsoft, they'll be one I just hope it will be breakable. I'm loving the screen though, sure it's a lot like the ipod but I still have hopes it'll be an improvement.
Definately won't buy one at 300, 200 maybe. But it must have video, if it doesn't than this isn't a step up. Even better give us the choice.
What have I said over and over, HD games AREN'T needed. If it's a couple gbs over all you need to do is download it on your Hard drive. It's a lot better than paying 200 bucks to sony's format.
achira, 1up.com said the 360 version looked better than the PC version. ahhhh
Let me save you guys alot of money.
DON'T BUY DX10 CARDS, until they come out with their 2nd gen cards. Cause all the original dx10 cards are gonna be outdated almost immediately in performance.
This is the only reason I could see myself with a wii 2 years from now.
Do me a favor and take your fanboyism somewhere else. You didn't give me any kind of reason to think that MS will make HD-DVD required. I've lost count on how many times they've denied it. It's not practical by any means.
Take your headless rants elsewhere because you can't give me one good reason why they would have to require a HDDVD when all they would have to do is ship a bigger hard drive if things got really bad. Nobody's gonna use all of those features Sony's shippin...
THIS WON'T HAPPEN, first of all. All that will happen is for the few games over 9gbs will be shipped with 2 discs and you have the option to download those couple extra gigs onto your harddrive so you'd only use one disc. That's how it's gonna be. Bigger hard drive might be release but HD-DVD will never be required.
First, I'm not an x-freak, I've have nintendos stuff and a PS2 but sold that for breaking. The 360 isn't a 4 year console I'm saying in 4 years plus 1 year that's it's already been out.
NOTICE, this is what the article says about market share.
44% Sony
40% MS
16% Nintendo
Sounds pretty accurate to me, except for Kaz's insane comment. He says they can match or surpass 60% of the PS2's, lol.
